First eight UFC event dates for 2016 announced

The UFC announced the final seven fight card dates of eight total in the coming year's first quarter. UFC Tonight broke the news Wednesday night.

In addition to the previously announced Jan. 2 UFC 195 Pay-Per-View, two more Pay-Per-View cards were announced.

On Feb. 6, UFC 196 will take place from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Later that same month, on the 27th, the UFC will visit London's O2 Arena for UFC Fight Night before giving way to UFC 197 on March 5 at a yet-to-be-announced location.

In all, three UFC event locations have been announced for the eight-card first quarter of 2016. UFC 195 and UFC 196 at the MGM in Las Vegas, and the London Fight Night.

UFC 195 is scheduled to be headlined by a welterweight championship fight between titleholder Robbie Lawler and challenger Carlos Condit. We'll keep you posted with developments as more locations are announced, and as fights get added to the events.
