Eddie Alvarez calls out Conor McGregor for fight in UFC 205
Lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez made it obvious who he hopes to fight next in November at UFC 205 in New York City.
On Twitter, Alvarez called out Conor McGregor to fight him as the main event.
There has been a buzz that this matchup could take place, and Fox Sports is reporting that both Alvarez and McGregor are willing to make the fight happen, but no agreements have been made.
Alvarez is 28–4 in his career, and McGregor is 20–3.

If the fight were to take place, it would happen Nov. 12 at Madison Square Garden.
UFC President Dana White shot down the fight idea on Twitter. He instead said the fight would feature Khabib Nurmagomedov.
