Diego Sanchez meets Myles Jury at UFC 171 in Dallas

UFC 171 has received another stellar addition as Ultimate Fighter season one winner Diego Sanchez gets back in action against undefeated prospect Myles Jury at the March 15 show in Dallas.

UFC officials confirmed the new bout on Thursday.

Sanchez (24-6) has won numerous 'Fight Of The Night' performances, but his last battle against Gilbert Melendez may go down as one of the greatest of all-time. The two lightweights slugged it out over the course of 15 minutes leaving the crowd at UFC 166 in Houston on their feet and applauding the fighters for their shared performance.

Still, the end result of the fight was a loss for Sanchez so he will try to get back on track when he fights at UFC 171 against a top up-and-coming prospect looking to make his name by beating an established veteran.

Myles Jury (13-0) will get the biggest opportunity of his young career taking on Sanchez in Dallas. Jury, who was just recently awarded his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, has been one of the most pleasant surprises from the past few seasons of The Ultimate Fighter.

Jury actually appeared on the show twice -- the first time ended when he blew out his knee early in the season and had to exit -- but despite not winning The Ultimate Fighter Live, he's come storming out of the gates since then with three straight wins.

Now the undefeated fighter from California will look to add Sanchez's name to his growing resume as he tries to become a player in the lightweight contender's race in 2014.
