According to the report from the Albuquerque Journal, Brandao allegedly argued with a DJ at a club called Knockouts before leaving and attempting to gain entry back into the club. He was then stopped by employees due to his behavior inside.
Brandao then allegedly returned to the club a second time with a gun in his hand, which sent patrons fleeing for cover.
At that point, Brandao allegedly pointed the gun at one man before striking an employee with the butt of the gun, then pointed the gun once again before going back to his vehicle.
Brandao last competed in the UFC in January when he was submitted by Brian Ortega with a third-round triangle choke. Following the fight it was revealed that Brandao had tested positive for marijuana metabolites.
UFC officials haven't made a comment yet regarding Brandao's arrest on Friday.
