DC talks 205lbs debut, plus TUF UK

We go 'beserker' with six of the best guests, who join the UFC World Podcast this week: Daniel Cormier, Gil Melendez, Garry Cook, Brad Pickett as in-studio guest, Jake Shields and Luke Rockhold.
From the spoils: Daniel Cormier says he'll fight whoever they put in front of him at light-heavyweight, be it Alex Gustfasson or champion Jon Jones first; he reveals the only reason he joked about not going to Sweden at the post-UFC 166 press conference and facing Gustafsson was because of the weight cut.
It will be the first time for 12 years he will have been at 205lbs, and would thus prefer to do it on home soil. He's convinced he'll be faster and more dangerous.
With UFC Fight Night Manchester looming, Garry Cook, CEO EMEA for the UFC tells us the UK is the flagship nation for Europe, a massive market which needs to be capitalised on to allow fans to watch at primetime, instead of the middle of the night. He could also see a TUF UK with Scotland/England/Ireland/Wales season going ahead, and hinted that it's already being discussed.
At the news, Brad Pickett said he was prepared to fight Michael Bisping to get a team coach slot. It was that kind of night in the studio....
Therefore...in praise of the relentless, thrilling Diego Sanchez/Gil Melendez fight, Gareth has a couple of 'beserker' singing moments himself on the podcast. Melendez, though, relates that fighting Sanchez felt like fighting the Walking Dead, and there were times when he thought he needed a bow and arrow in there at the Toyota Center, Houston, at UFC 166. Melendez wants the title shot next, talks about the Dec 14 title fight between Anthony Pettis/Josh Thompson, and reckons Pettis will triumph in Sacramento.
