Conor McGregor Would Entertain WWE Wrestlemania Offer
Everybody wants a piece of ‘The Notorious’ one, Conor McGregor, and WWE is no exception.
Two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor is bigger than he’s ever been and now the WWE wants a piece. Audie Attar, McGregor’s agent, said the champion would entertain an offer to appear at Wrestlemania.
Speaking with ESPN’s 5ive Rounds podcast, Attar said that McGregor’s next move might be in the entertainment world.
“I think it’s all about business, man. If [WWE] is going to come with an offer, we are willing to entertain it. We are here. Have their people call his people, which is me. We can have a conversation.”
McGregor would not be the first UFC fighter to appear at the WWE’s annual mega-show. Former bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey appeared at Wrestlemania 31 with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. She tossed wrestler Triple H to the ground to the uproar of the crowd.
McGregor could easily be the biggest star to enter the ring. Recently other sports stars have begun to do the “Billy-Strut” which McGregor does in the cage before and after his fights. The “Billy-strut” (short for billionaire) originated with WWE chairman Vince McMahon.

McGregor has gone after WWE stars before in interviews. Before his rematch with Nate Diaz at UFC 202, McGregor went after WWE superstar, and the face of the pro-wrestling promotion, John Cena.
“What’s the main guy? John Cena. He’s 40. He’s 40 years of age. He’s walking around in a luminous orange t-shirt and a headband talking about nobody can see him. We can see him right there. He’s a big, fat, 40-year-old Mr. Olympia motherf—-. They’re dweebs those guys,” McGregor said.
The UFC double champ has plenty of opportunities these days, and the cage will have to wait until the birth of his child in early 2017, but he’s got plenty of other options to keep him in the spotlight until he returns to MMA.
