Conor McGregor baits UFC in cryptic tweet

Published Apr. 21, 2016 8:28 p.m. ET

If you thought UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor was sweating his getting dropped from UFC 200, he wants you to know, he's not.

McGregor sent that message in a cryptic tweet Thursday afternoon, hours after releasing a statement saying promotional duties were holding him back from preparing for UFC 200 opponent, Nate Diaz.

The UFC pulled McGregor from UFC 200 on Tuesday after he failed to agree to show up for promotional duties. UFC president Dana White gave McGregor a chance to fly to Vegas and still fight on the card, but McGregor stood firm.

Dana White said that the UFC's next move is to find another fighter to face Diaz at UFC 200.
