Russian tennis star Nikolay Davydenko has lost his place in the world top-10, according to the Association of Tennis Professionals ( ATP) rankings, published on Monday.
The 29-year-old Russian tennis player had held onto his position in the top-10 since July 2009, but plunged from 6th to 11th position after his poor performance last week at the Shanghai Tennis Tournament in China.
Despite winning the tournament in 2009, Davydenko was knocked out in the first round this year by Germany's Mischa Zverev, ranked 98th by ATP.
Mikhail Youzhny is now the only Russian player in the ATP Top-10, holding ninth place.
