Wolverhampton Wanderers avoided its 10th straight Premier League defeat at home on Sunday, drawing 0-0 with Everton and getting its first point at Molineux since December.
The already relegated Wolves also avoided losing 14 games at home in a season, which would have equaled the record held by Sunderland.
Seventh-place Everton had the better of the chances and twice had the ball in the back of the net but Nikica Jelavic and Denis Stracqualursi were both denied by offside flags.
Tony Hibbert came close to getting his first goal for Everton after more than 300 games but Stephen Ward managed to get his body in the way.
