Oswaldo Vizcarrondo headed in a corner in the 72nd minute to give Venezuela a 1-1 draw with Mexico in an international friendly Tuesday.

Aldo De Negris opened the scoring for Mexico in the 58th minute. Luis Perez slid the ball along the goal line to Giovani Dos Santos, who angled the ball in the air to a driving De Negris, who got to the ball just before keeper Leonard Morales and headed it into the net.

Mexico could have scored again 10 minutes later, but Dos Santos hit the right post.

That left the door open for Vizcarrondo, who headed Yohandry Orozco's corner from the right side past Mexican keeper Guillermo Ochoa.

The teams also drew 2-2 at Mexico in October.
