Armin Veh has been hired as the new coach of Hamburger SV.
Hamburg said late Monday that Veh signed a two-year contract.
Veh won the Bundesliga championship with Stuttgart in 2007. He also coached Wolfsburg as successor to Felix Magath after the club's first Bundesliga title but was fired in January, six months into the job.
Bruno Labbadia was fired as Hamburg coach two games before the end of the last season. Hamburg failed to qualify for a European competition.
