Ukraine's prime minister has won a round of beers from a Swedish fan and then drank them with him following the co-host nation's win over Sweden in the European Championship.
Prime Minister Mykola Azarov was at his office Thursday to receive the six bottles of Swedish beer from fan Ola Sjostedt, who paid off his bet after Ukraine won 2-1 on Monday.
Azarov complemented the Swedish beer and presented Sjostedt with a traditional Ukrainian embroidered shirt. The premier said he would be supporting Sweden when it plays England on Friday.
As for the Ukraine team, Azarov said he was confident the country would beat France on Friday and is ready to bet a bottle of French brandy.
