Switzerland recalls Lustenberger to face SKorea
Hertha Berlin captain Fabian Lustenberger was recalled Friday to the Switzerland squad for its friendly against fellow World Cup qualifier South Korea.
Lustenberger was previously selected by coach Ottmar Hitzfeld two years ago, and is in line for an international debut in Seoul next Friday.
The 25-year-old central defender gets his chance as Johan Djourou is injured.
Hitzfeld, whose team will be seeded in the Dec. 6 World Cup draw, is also without injured key players Xherdan Shaqiri and Stephan Lichtsteiner.
Fulham midfielder Pajtim Kasami retains his place after being a late injury replacement in the squad for World Cup qualifying matches last month.
Forward Mario Gavranovic returns after completing a suspension from first-team duties at his club Zurich.
