Racing's Acosta out 2-3 months with knee injury

Racing Santander will be without forward Lautaro Acosta for two to three months with a knee injury.

The Spanish club says on its website that the 23-year-old Argentine broke a bone in his right knee in a 0-0 draw with Sporting Gijon on Sunday.

Acosta joined Racing in the offseason on loan from Sevilla, where he had played the last three seasons.

Acosta's injury comes as a blow to Santander, which is winless through five games and hasn't scored in its last four matches. The Cantabrian club is 17th in the Spanish league.
