Paul Clement joins PSG as Ancelotti's assistant

Paul Clement has joined Paris Saint-Germain as an assistant coach to Carlo Ancelotti.
The pair worked together in the past two seasons when Ancelotti, as Chelsea's manager, appointed Clement as first team coach.
''Paul Clement was my assistant at Chelsea, I have a very good relationship with him and he will do a good job here,'' Ancelotti said. ''He will start working next week.''
Clement will work alongside Claude Makelele, the former Chelsea midfielder who is Ancelotti's other assistant coach.
''He will have the same role as Claude Makelele, he will be my assistant coach, like Claude is,'' Ancelotti said. ''Paul has experience, he has knowledge and is very motivated.''
Clement, who was previously part of Fulham's coaching staff, has swapped a relegation scrap with Blackburn to join an ambitious PSG setup in which ?82 million ($116 million) has already been spent on players this season.
More funds are available for Ancelotti to recruit new players this month.
PSG lost 1-0 to AC Milan in a friendly earlier this week, but Ancelotti's first official match in charge is a French Cup match away to amateur side Locmine on Sunday.
''We want to do well in this competition, to go all the way,'' Ancelotti said.
