Vieirinha and Dimitris Salpigidis scored to lead PAOK to a 2-1 win over Volos in the Greek league playoffs on Thursday, keeping the team on track for a Champions League spot next season.
PAOK has two wins from as many games after hanging on for victory in Volos, which narrowed the score in the 62nd minute through Juan Martin.
In Thursday's other match, AEK Athens held league runner-up Panathinaikos to 1-1. Leonardo put AEK ahead in the second minute, but Ismael Blanco headed in an own goal in the 23rd, under pressure from Luis Garcia.
League champion Olympiakos has already booked a place in the Champions League. The playoffs will also decide two Europa League spots.
