Mourinho named 'Rockstar of the Year'

An artist's impression of Mourinho appears on the cover of the December 2011 issue of Rolling Stone's Spanish edition, which cites the charismatic mentor's "controversial message," "brazen intelligence" and "provocative attitude" as justification for the title.
Mourinho, who is also known as "The Special One," this year led Real Madrid to victory in Spanish cup competition the Copa del Rey for the first time since 1993 and is regarded by some as the best manager in world soccer.
Mourinho also guided Real Madrid to the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League, the clubs best performance since the 2002-03 competition.
The "rockstar" tag is the latest in a series of non-soccer honors for the Portuguese, including New Statesman's "Man of the Year" in 2005 and a top-10 finish in AskMen.com's list of "Most Influential Men" in 2010.
Mourinho, 48, is a father of two, speaks five languages fluently and has a well-known penchant for expensive designer suits. He's won league titles in Portugal, England, and Italy and is one of three managers to guide two different teams to UEFA Champions League titles.
