Morrison set for cup outing
The teenage midfielder is highly rated at Old Trafford and was an influential figure in last season's FA Youth Cup-winning side. He featured as a substitute against Aldershot in the last round of the Carling Cup, but has also experienced several problems off the pitch. However, he is expected to be given another chance to shine when Palace visit United in midweek after Ferguson praised the 18-year-old's ability. "Ravel Morrison was in the squad for last week's game against Benfica," said Ferguson. "He's a very, very talented boy and he'll possibly be on the bench, at least, in midweek." The United boss intends to field a youthful team against Palace, with Paul Pogba and Ezekiel Fryers, who have featured in both games in the competition so far this term, also in line to play again. Ferguson added: "There will be a complete change. Chris Smalling has come back and I may be able to play him. He's still young and it'll be a young squad against Palace. "The only area where I've got problems is the centre of midfield. It's possible I could play Pogba there but I've got enough players to choose from."
