Catania have announced coach Vincenzo Montella has left the club after just one season in charge.
Montella took charge at Catania last year after a spell as caretaker-coach at Roma before leading the Sicilian club to an 11th-placed finish.
However, the club confirmed on their website that they and Montella had gone their separate ways.
A statement read: "The club have announced that it has been agreed in principle to terminate the relationship with coach Vincenzo Montella."
