Madcap Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli was sent by his mom to buy cleaning materials and brought home a truckload of boys' toys instead.
The Italian — famed for his wacky antics — was sent out by trusting Silvio Balotelli in search of an iron and ironing board, plus other household items for the cleaner at his mansion in Cheshire, northern England.
But after five hours, the 21-year-old returned from department store John Lewis empty-handed.
Moments later, a store van arrived, bearing none of the items on his mom's list but carrying a giant trampoline, Scalextric racing-car game, two Vespa scooters and a table tennis set.
His fuming mother, who was in the United Kingdom to keep an eye on her wayward soccer star son, was forced to read him the riot act.
His shopping disaster was disclosed on Twitter when an insider posted, "Mario's ma sends him & his mates with a list. Mario returns 5 hrs later empty-handed. Cleaner: 'Er, where's the iron, iron-board etc?' Then a big John Lewis van arrives. Contains nothing from the list bt the following 'practical items': Giant trampoline, Scalextric, two Vespas, table tennis set."
The striker scored a goal against local rivals Manchester United on Sunday, hours after pals set off fireworks in his bathroom, sparking a blaze.
