Argentina international Lucho Gonzalez has been robbed of his luxury car and credit cards by armed men who broke into his house.
Police say a gang armed with shotguns entered the Marseille midfielder's home by a door which had not been locked on Thursday night and asked the player and his wife to give them their credit cards.
The burglars also took the couple's Bentley but didn't harm them.
Marseille president Jean-Claude Dassier's house was also robbed on Wednesday during the club's Champions League last-16 second leg match at Manchester United.
