Kaiserslautern says it has signed Danish striker Nicolai Joergensen on loan from Bayer Leverkusen.
The Bundesliga side said Friday it agreed a one and a half year deal for the 20-year-old Joergensen.
Joergensen made 10 Bundesliga and two Champions League appearances for Leverkusen. He also played twice for Denmark.
Kaiserslautern coach Marco Kurz said Joergensen is a ''young and hungry player. He knows the Bundesliga well and we're convinced that he'll bring in qualities that will help us further.''
Kaiserslautern has struggled this season and is in the relegation playoff place. It faces defending champion Borussia Dortmund on Sunday.
