Defender Andrea Barzagli has completed his transfer from Wolfsburg to Juventus and signed a contract through June 2013.
Juventus' website reported Thursday that the club will pay the German side ?300,000 ($411,000), although the fee could double depending on appearances.
Barzagli joined Wolfsburg in the 2008 offseason, made 75 appearances and won the 2009 Bundesliga title.
However, this season he has fallen behind Simon Kjaer and Arne Friedrich and the club decided to sell before he could leave for free after the season, when his contract was out.
