Champions League winner Inter Milan's €48.8 million ($61.5 million) payout was the biggest share of €746 million ($941 million) distributed by UEFA to the 32 clubs who competed in the group stage last season.
UEFA says that Inter earned more than €29 million in prize money and €19.6 million from the television rights pool.
Manchester United was the next highest earner with €45.8 million - even though it lost to Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals - because British TV deals are so valuable.
Bayern, which lost in the final, earned almost €45 million.
Maccabi Haifa got the smallest share with €8.5 million. It lost all six group matches and UEFA's current TV deal in Israel is small.
