Spain midfielder Andres Iniesta will start in the team's opening World Cup match against Switzerland.
The Spanish federation says Iniesta will play after recovering from a right leg injury.
Cesc Fabregas and Fernando Torres - both returning from leg injuries - were on the bench for the Group H game at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Striker David Villa will start in front of a five-man midfield of Iniesta, Xavi Hernandez, Xabi Alonso, David Silva and Sergio Busquets, with the latter two making their World Cup debuts in South Africa.
