Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin will miss Saturday's Serie A match with Genoa after his appeal against a one-match ban was unsuccessful.
Inter appealed after the Colombian was sanctioned by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) for his "aggressive and intimidating" conduct towards referee Paolo Mazzoleni following a 1-0 defeat at Lazio on December 16.
But the FIGC's court of justice ruled his appeal "inadmissable" in a brief statement on their official website. A fine of 5,000 euros was also upheld.
