
DaMarcus Beasley makes debut for Puebla

American midfielder DaMarcus Beasley made his debut for the Mexican club Puebla, which opened the Apertura season with a 1-0 win at Atlas on Saturday night.
The 29-year-old from Fort Wayne, Ind., a veteran of three World Cups, spent last season with Hannover in the German Bundesliga but had no starts and four appearances as a substitute, the last on Nov. 27.
Beasley has 17 goals in 93 international appearances. He previously was with the Chicago Fire, PSV Eindhoven and Glasgow Rangers.
