Cuadrado's agent dismisses summer exit for Chelsea winger

Juan Cuadrado has firm interest from other clubs, but is "very likely" to remain at Chelsea, according to his agent.

The Colombian has been attracting the interest of Roma and Inter Milan, while Juventus registered their interest in the 27-year-old winger over the weekend.

Juve chief executive Giuseppe Marotta claimed the Serie A side are "open to all possibilities": "Should Chelsea be open to a loan with the possibility to sell him permanently, we would be happy."

But Cuadrado's agent Alessandro Lucci is adamant the former Fiorentina man, who only arrived in west London in the January transfer window, will not be leaving Stamford Bridge.

"I read with amazement in some English and Italian newspapers about imaginary figures and agents associated with Cuadrado, so I think it is right to clarify the situation," Lucci told Tuttomercato.

"Cuadrado is a Chelsea player, strongly backed by Mourinho who believes in him. Juan is fine in London and is very likely to remain at Chelsea.

"He has interest from other teams but I repeat; Juan is a Chelsea player."

Jose Mourinho immediately defended the £23.3m ($36m) signing of Cuadrado, who penned a four-and-a-half-year deal in the winter transfer window.

Mourinho said: "He needs his time. He is not a panic buy. It's a reaction to (Andre) Schurrle's departure."
