Colo Colo, despite a 2-0 loss on Sunday to Universidad de Concepcion, won Chile's Apertura tournament to guarantee it a place in this season's Copa Sudamericana and the 2011 Copa Libertadores.
Colo Colo finished the competition with 38 points, two better than Universidad de Chile and four in front of Universidad Catolica. Juan Cabral and Pedro Munoz scored for Universidad de Concepcion, which finished with 18 points.
