Chile will host the 2015 Copa America after Brazil backed out.
Chilean federation president Sergio Jadue confirmed the move on Saturday after Brazilian officials decided the calendar was too crowded with three major events in the country in the next several years: The Confederations Cup in 2013, the World Cup in 2014 and the Olympics in 2016.
Jadue says Chile ''will organize a very good Copa America.''
Chile hosted the South American championship in 1991, and has never won it.
Uruguay won the 2011 Copa in Argentina.
