Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue has revealed that he has passed his medical at Tottenham ahead of a £9.4million switch to White Hart Lane.
Capoue has been the subject of negotiations between the two clubs in recent weeks and is set to become a Spurs player after coming through his examination unscathed.
"There are only some paperwork to sign now. I will be at the training ground on Thursday," he told Sky Sports News on Wednesday evening.
"Tottenham is a super club. It's the best club to continue my career. It should be official very quickly now."
Spurs have already added Brazilian international Paulinho to their midfield ranks this summer, and it looks as though the 25-year-old Capoue will join him in time for the opening Premier League game against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
