Buchel pens Cherries deal

Bournemouth have signed Liechtenstein goalkeeper Benjamin Buchel on a six-month deal.

The 23-year-old, who has won four caps for his country, impressed on trial at the Goldsands Stadium during pre-season.

Buchel told Bournemouth's website: "I'm very happy. I have seen during my trial that this is a very good club with good goalkeeper training.

"It's nice here but the weather changes very often but I love it and the people and the fans are great here."

The deal is subject to international clearance from FIFA as well as Football League and Football Association approval.
