The 41-year-old said he has no plans to announce his retirement, but also that talks on a new deal are yet to begin with the club.
Boschker is currently on the sidelines with a calf injury and does not want to bow out of the game on such a note.
He told Voetbal International: "I still enjoy it and am still very motivated. In addition, I still am injured, I do not want to end with such a year. I want a dignified farewell.
"From the club I have not heard anything, but it is only January. If I am fit again there will undoubtedly be a conversation with the coach (Steve McClaren) and the chairman (Joop Munsterman)."
