Bordeaux forward Yoan Gouffran has signed a one-year contract extension to keep him at the club until June 2013.
The 24-year-old, who joined Les Girondins from Caen in 2008, has been out of action since breaking his ankle against his former club in February, but had some good news as he put pen to paper on his fresh deal.
A club statement read: "Yoan Gouffran has signed a contract extension for the club. Initially under contract until June 2012, the number seven has committed for another season and is now under contract until June 2013.
"This is good news for the club and the player.

"Yoan is continuing his recovery following a broken ankle. He will not play again this season but should be fully fit in July."
