With 22,000 schoolchildren in the stands, AZ Alkmaar beat Ajax 3-2 Thursday in a replayed Dutch Cup match.
Last month, the match between the two teams was halted when a hooligan ran onto the Amsterdam Arena field and tried to attack AZ goalkeeper Esteban Alvarado.
Alvarado turned into an online sensation by repelling the attack, then was sent off for kicking the hooligan twice. AZ coach Gertjan Verbeek subsequently led his players off the field with Ajax leading 1-0.
Dutch soccer authorities initially ordered the match replayed behind closed doors, but later allowed schoolchildren to watch the match for free.

Rasmus Elm scored a go-ahead penalty kick in the replay. American forward Jozy Altidore entered in the 78th for AZ.
