Atletico Madrid beats Thailand all-stars 3-0

Europa League champion Atletico Madrid played without two of its top players but still eased past a team of Thailand all-stars 3-0 in a preseason friendly.

The Spanish side dictated play against Thailand's Premier League All Stars from the start Sunday.

Eduardo Salvio of Argentina opened the scoring in the 16th minute followed by Alvaro Dominguez in the 24th. Simao Sabrosa of Portugal scored the third in the 85th minute.

The club's South American stars Diego Forlan and Sergio Aguero remain on break after playing in the World Cup.
