Atletico beat Guangzhou to finish 3rd at Club WCup
Atletico Mineiro scored moments after Ronaldinho's sending off to rebound from a surprising semifinal loss and beat Guangzhou Evergrande 3-2 to finish third at the Club World Cup on Saturday.
Substitute Luan scored the winning goal on the stroke of stoppage time, two minutes after Ronaldinho was red-carded for an ugly two-legged stamp.
Ronaldinho curled home a free kick from 20 meters (yards) for his second goal of the continental champions' tournament just before the break.
Muriqui canceled out Diego Tardelli's early opener before the Chinese champions took the lead over the Brazilian side from Dario Conca's 15th-minute penalty.
The match was coach Cuca's last in charge of Copa Libertadores champion Atletico, which lost to Raja Casablanca in the semifinals.
Later Saturday, Raja played heavy favorite Bayern Munich in the final.
