Ivan Lodnia, RW, Erie Otters (OHL)
Lodnia is off to a hot start in the OHL, where he pushed his scoring streak to six games with three goals last week in a pair of wins over the Owen Sound Attack. He scored twice in a 6-4 win Saturday, camping out in front of the net for a greasy score in the first period, then tipping home a Taylor Raddysh wrist shot for the game-winner in the second period. Raddysh fed him again on Sunday, setting up a slick one-timer with a pass through the slot that left Lodnia with an open net to shoot at. Lodnia leads the Otters with nine goals in 12 games, and is tied for sixth in the league.
Louie Belpedio D, Miami (NCHC)
Belpedio got on the board for the first time over the weekend, helping the RedHawks to a split with Maine. He grabbed the primary assist on Miami's fourth goal in a high-scoring win Friday, then scored the game-winner on the power play late in the second period. He also assisted on a five-on-three power play goal Saturday. Now in his fourth season with the RedHawks, Belpedio earned an All-NCHC honorable mention despite playing in just 24 games, and played for Team USA at the World Junior Championship as a sophomore.
Justin Kloos, F, Iowa Wild (AHL)
A Lakeville native and former Gophers star, Kloos made his NHL debut Tuesday in the Wild's 1-0 loss to the Vancouver Canucks. He played just 8:38 and was hit with a holding penalty, but it was a major moment for the local product nonetheless. Kloos won Minnesota's Mr. Hockey award in 2012 and led Lakeville South to the state tournament, held at Xcel Energy Center. One of the most consistent scoring threats in recent Gophers history, Kloos didn't miss a game during his four years with the program, racking up 63 goals and 87 assists (150 points) in 155 games.
