What's up with photo of Sidney Crosby crossing the street in Sochi?

We've seen all sorts of strange sights in Sochi, from yellow drinking water to lovable stray dogs.

And we've seen plenty of images of the athletes in action too.

But one shot Wednesday of Sidney Crosby is a little of both.

First off, Canada doesn't open play until Thursday, when they are set to take on Norway.

So what's one of their biggest stars doing crossing the street today in full uniform? We don't know, but it's worth a look.

Maybe he simply wanted to get to the other side. (Thank you, thank you, we'll be here all week.)
