Vanderbilt Cancels Game in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio-In a letter received Oct. 16, 2012, Vanderbilt University notified Ohio State the Commodores have cancelled the Aug. 31, 2013 scheduled game with the Buckeyes, Gene Smith, Ohio State associate vice president and director of athletics, announced Thursday.

Smith said Ohio State is working to secure a replacement game.

Vanderbilt also cancelled the remainder of its series (2013 and 2014) with Northwestern.
