When Wisconsin traveled to Lincoln to take on Nebraska in football on Sep. 29, both teams wore specially designed Adidas uniforms to commemorate the budding rivalry. Now both schools' basketball teams will have unique threads of their own to show off when they meet Sunday in Nebraska and again on Feb. 26 in Madison.
Wisconsin announced Friday it will be wearing a special Adidas white-on-white uniform similar to that worn by NBA teams on Christmas Day, with white lettering and numbers highlighted by red trim. Nebraska will wear a red-on-red version of the uniform highlighted by white trim.
The teams are expected to wear the uniforms only when they play each other.
