Twins place reliever Boshers on DL, promote Albers

The Minnesota Twins have placed left-handed reliever Buddy Boshers on the 15-day disabled list with elbow inflammation and added fellow lefty Andrew Alberts of Triple-A Rochester.

Boshers is 2-0 with a 5.84 ERA and 24 strikeouts through 24 2/3 innings pitched for the Twins this season.

Albers has made 19 starts for the Red Wings, registering a 3.51 ERA with 72 strikeouts and 28 walks in 112 2/3 innings pitched.
