TUF Talk: Lisa Ellis says her performance was 'complete garbage'
Lisa Ellis was one of the most veteran competitors going into this season of The Ultimate Fighter, but instead of roaring like a lion, she went out like a lamb.
Ellis was eliminated in Wednesday's episode by No. 4 seed Jessica Penne in a one-sided affair that ended by rear naked choke in the first round. UFC president Dana White was heard after the fight saying that he believed she wanted out of the fight and she certainly got out of there in a hurry.
Now weeks removed from the house and the fight with Penne, no one is more disgusted at the performance than Ellis herself. For all the fights she's won and lost, this is maybe one of the only times she's actually been ashamed.
"It was actually nothing what I would ever want to show that I'm capable of," Ellis said. "I think what I show is complete garbage and it just sucks. It's what happened and I wasn't able to suck it up, I wasn't able to deal with it and that's on me."
Ellis talks about the fight with Penne, the first bout they had together as well as the effects she suffered being away from her one-year old daughter while filming the show.
