TUF Talk Episode 11: Corey Anderson and Pat Walsh
The second finalist for The Ultimate Fighter season 19 has been crowned as Corey Anderson showed off a dynamic striking game to best teammate Pat Walsh and now he'll join fellow Team Edgar fighter Eddie Gordon on the finale next week from Las Vegas.
On the latest episode of TUF Talk, Anderson will discuss his evolution as a fighter that's been witnessed since joining the show. For only training MMA for about a year and a half, Anderson has picked up the nuances of the sport rather quickly and he's continued that advancement by joining his coach Frankie Edgar as he gets ready for his fight at the finale.
As excited as Anderson is to become TUF champion, that's not what drives him most because at the end of the day winning a UFC title is why he started in the sport.
"It will be something to brag and tell people -- yeah I was that guy that won The Ultimate Fighter," Anderson said. "That's great but I want to be able to tell them also I was the world champion."
Anderson's opponent Pat Walsh will also join the podcast to discuss his momentary 'defection' to Team Penn and how it affected him getting ready for the fight.
