Thunder's Jackson to partcipate in Skills Challenge

Reggie Jackson will join Kevin Durant in New Orleans as the two will represent the Thunder during Saturday's All-Star game festivities.

Jackson, who has taken over at point guard while Russell Westbrook has been injured, has been invited to take place in the Skills Challenge.

In addition to playing in the All-Star game Sunday, Durant will compete in the Shooting Stars Challenge.

The Skills challenge is four, two-person teams competing in a two-round, timed relay-race obstacle course where they will dribble, pass and shoot.

Jackson, along with Damien Lilliard of Portland, Trey Burke of Utah and Goran Dragic of Phoenix will be on the Western Conference team. The East team is DeMar DeRozan, Giannis Antetokoumpo of Milwaukee, Michael Carter-Williams of Philadelphia and Victor Oladipo are on the Eastern Conference team.

Durant will team up with Hall of Famer Karl Malone as well as the WNBA's Skylar Diggins of the Tulsa Shock in the Shooting Stars Challenge. Steph Curry will compete alongside his dad Del Curry and Becky Hammons of the San Antonio Stars. The Eastern Conference teams will be Tim Hardaway Jr. of the Knicks with his dad Tim Hardaway as well as Elena Della Donne of the WNBA. Chris Bosh of Miami and Dominique Wilkins are joined by Swin Cash of the Chicago Sky as the other Eastern Conference team.

The Shooting Stars contest features shots from different spots around the court.
