TBT: Allyson Felix sets national prep record in 200M at 2003 CIF Meet

When racing Allyson Felix, it's best to get out of her way.
In the latest 'Throwback Thursday' from our Prep Zone archives, check out Felix of Los Angeles Baptist High School running the 200 meters is a record time of 22.52 seconds.
Felix, who also won the 100M in the 2003 CIF State meet, will compete for Team USA in this month's Rio Olympics -- where she will look to add to her impressive resume.
Felix already owns four Olympic gold medals (2008 in Beijing: 4x400M relay; 2012 in London: 200M, 4x1, 4x4) and two silver (2004 in Athens: 200M; 2008 in Beijing: 200M).
Felix will compete in the 200, 400 and 4x4 relay in Rio and we wish the CIF-SS and USC alum the best of luck!
