The Minnesota Twins are at Target Field for the final three-game series of the season. With a playoff spot within grasp, being at home might just be the place to be for the Twins.
Minnesota has the fifth-most home victories in the American League with 46, behind Toronto, Houston, Kansas City and Los Angeles.
Entering the final weekend, the Twins are batting .266 at Target Field, with a .324 on-base percentage and .432 slugging percentage (compared to their road marks of 231/289/375). In addition, their batting average on balls in play is .303, compared to .280 away from home.
That has led to Minnesota having one of the biggest run differentials between home and road.
