Stoops wants league to review hit on Mixon

On the last play of the third quarter Saturday against Baylor, Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon was knocked down on a hit by Taion Sells. Mixon lost his helmet on the play but no targeting was called.

Monday, Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said he was planning on having the Big 12 Conference review the hit.

"I'll send it to the league and see what they say," Stoops said. "It seems like it was and seemed obvious, but since they didn't throw it, maybe it's not."
