Stoops, players enjoy impromptu celebration

There wasn't a formal Big 12 title presentation for the Oklahoma football team, but OU and coach Bob Stoops came up with an impromptu celebration.
A group of players and Stoops brought the Big 12 trophy to the Oklahoma basketball game Sunday afternoon and at halftime Stoops spoke to the crowd as did a number of players as OU took on Wisconsin.
Defensive end Charles Tapper carried the trophy and senior center Ty Darlington was the first player to speak to the crowd.
"We're proud to be Big 12 champs once again for the ninth time," Stoops said. Now we can hopefully, and probably there's a bigger piece of cake we've got to go after."
