Starling among six Royals minor leaguers headed to Arizona Fall League

The Kansas City Royals announced Tuesday that six players from their minor league system as well as pitching coach Carlos Reyes and athletic trainer James Stone will participate in the 2015 Arizona Fall League. Royals farmhands who will play in the league include right-handed pitchers Andrew Edwards, Kevin McCarthy and Brooks Pounders, catcher Zane Evans, infielder Ramon Torres and outfielder Bubba Starling.

Kansas City is now affiliated with the Surprise Saguaros, which plays in the Western Division of the Arizona Fall League. The season is scheduled to begin on October 13.
